Kusum Kanguru peak overlooking the southern ending point of dramatic Kyashar Himal as well as witnessing Kyashar (6,770m), Thamserku ( 6,608m), Mera peak, Everest, Makalu summit and Kangtega (6,685m) are the major fascinations of the expedition.

Why Different

Kusum Kanguru is regarded as one of the tough peaks to climb with no trouble-free routes but ice climbing and mixed rock paths. This complex and triple-summit peak however rewards you with awe-inspiring vista. Kusum Kanguru, has no less than five major edges and the north Face of the core summit is the most breathtaking. Also, you will see the settlements, culture and way of life of Sherpa people; wild animals like Himalayan thar, musk deer; national flower Rhododendron and national bird-Pheasant

Best season

The spring season and the autumn season are regarded as the best time for Khangguru expedition. While the summer months and the winter months are considered to be the harshest time for climbing. And, the months like April and May, October and November are the standard climbing period.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1,300m)

Upon your entrance in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative of Peaceful Himalaya Trekking at Kathmandu International Airport and then you will transfer to hotel. You can rest for some time and in the evening you can enjoy dinner with Nepali cultural dance. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today, you will be go around different world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley; the sacred temple of Hindu, Pashupatinath; Swoyambhunath Stupa  which is also known as the monkey temple; the world’s biggest Stupa, Boudhanath; and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will also visit Kumari broadly known as Living Goddess in Basantapur, Kathmandu. You will also go around Patan Durbar Square which is rich in historical art and architecture. Overnight at hotel again.

Day 03: Drive to Dharapani.

Day 04: Trek to Koto.

Day 05: Trek to Dharmasala or Meta.

Day 06: Rest Day in Meta.

Day 07: Trek to Khanguru Base Camp.

Day 08: Rest day at Khanguru Base Camp.

Day 09:Climb to Camp One and again back to Base Camp.

Day 10: Take all equipment to Camp one.

Day 11: Camp sitting at Camp one.

Day 12: All of us back to Base Camp.

Day 13: Stay at Base Camp.

Day 14: Our climber Sherpa make setting for Camp Two and back to camp one.

Day 15: All group back to Camp one.

Day 16: Climb to Camp two and back to camp one.

Day 17: Climb to Camp two and stay there with all staffs.

Day 18:Summit Khanguru and back to camp two.

Day 19: Back to Khangguru Base Camp.

Day 20: Come back to Meta.

Day 21: Rest  day and Packing goods at Meta.

Day 22: Back to Koto.

Day 23: Come back to Dharapani.

Day 24: Drive to Kathmandu.

Day 25: International Departure.
